The two stories seems to me full of inspiration and motivation for those who left our country in search of opportunity.
Sopeheap Ly is from Cambodia, but now she lives in Unated States she is an imigrant like Randy Jurado who was born in Unated States, but his parents led him to their country: El Salvador.
Sopehap Ly's goal was to move to America or Europe she wanted to be a doctor thar her father wish, she taught that the dream was possible here.
Randy returned to US. He didn't learn to read or write english until 4th grade, he wanted to study in Massachusets, but he recived a typed letter stating that he was not selected, then he wrote a letter asking a simple question, why? This is the part that i like most about the two stories because sometimes you feel like doing so many and ask for help and don't give you so, i liked the idea to asking...WHY?
Afer that he was selected to start the academy in Ronchester Minnesota.
Both worked hard to achieve their dreams.
Sopeheap Ly graduated and was accepted to Howard Medical School, she received her doctoral degree to practice medicine, and she wants that her life to serve as an example.

MY GOALS FOR 2010
At the beginning of a new year usually each person makes a wish list that wants to achieve in the coming year. These are my wishes for this year 2010:
My first personal goal is about my health I wish to go to the gym to firm my muscles. I want to eat healthy and start to eat many foods that now i don't like, such as milk, cheese, yogurt, etc...
My second goal is about my personal character I hope to be a better person and not be an upset girl. I must change my facial expression, it always looks like I'm sad or mad, and I don't like that. I would like to be a sociable person and go out more often and meet more people, and make friends.
I hope to do my best with courage at this level to improve my English.
My third goal is about money. I wish to save some money for emergencies and buy a car.
My family goals would be to call my mom more often, and try to be good to my sisters.
I hope to change my current job. I like my job now, but I prefer another one with better pay and nearer my house with better schedule to go to school.
I would like to going on a trip to the Mexican beach when the long vacation begin.
